NHS appeals for patients to use alternatives for health care following unprecedented demand in A&E

The NHS is appealing for the local community to consider whether alternative health services can meet their needs before attending the Emergency Departments (A&Es) in Frimley Park Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital. The appeal has been made after both hospitals have seen unprecedented numbers of patients arriving, many of whom could have received the care or treatment they needed without coming to the Emergency Department.

A united approach to improve services

New statutory bodies and committees will assume shared legal responsibility for delivering improved services to their residents.

Increased demand in Emergency Departments

Our Emergency Departments (A&Es) at both Wexham Park and Frimley Park hospitals are currently experiencing an increasing level of demand and it’s felt this is likely to continue throughout this weekend.
